    Cool

Dear forum, as a newly registered user and having had a read of some of the previous posts may i congradulate you on a very interesting and informative forum.

My question is can anyone out there point me in direction of a reliable dealer for a good super 8 camera in the london (united kingdom) area and the price i should expect to pay for one. I've being looking aroud a lot in garage and car boot sales and even though cameras i've seem look good i've being hesitent because of the sellers lack of knowledge.

Any help on dealers, models, prices would be greatly appreciated.

In my experience, I've found most dealers to be a tad overpriced, so I use places like Ebay for my equipment. Keep in mind that buying from a dealer( a reputable one) you would probably be better off than buying form Ebay, but if you look around, you can find some great deals. My recommendation is to use the search feature and browse through this forum, and you'll find plenty of helpful info on camera models. If you find one you're interested in on Ebay, I'm sure the helpful people in here would be happy to give you their opinions on it. Good luck

There is a dealer in England, and I believe he is London. His name is Guy Parker and he sells/services Nizo cameras. They are a little more expensive for the U.S. dollar,
BUT he is VERY imformative and a trust worthy dealer. Here is his website. www.merzbarn.com
You can also try Dr. Peters (although he is located in Germany) but...he also sells quality equipment that has been serviced.
He has a summer special going on right now for the Nizo s800 and 801 Macro. The s800 is $210.00 U.S. Dollars, and the Macro for $260.00 U.S. Dollars. Both are wonderfull cameras and worth the price.
Look for the post Nizo s800 and 801 Macro, more details (email etc) are posted there.
    I would recommend either person.

    Scott
